BioBalance Bowel Balance has been specially formulated with research-based ingredients shown to support healthy bowel function and help maintain normal microbial balance within the large intestine. The combination of Aloe vera, Turmeric, Glutamine, XOS (Xylo-oligosaccharide), German Chamomile and Quercetin support healthy bowel regularity and bowel comfort. This unique combination also assists with healthy levels of probiotic bowel bacteria by supporting the environment within the bowel and the integrity of the lining. This powder is naturally flavoured with NZ strawberry, grown in the Hawkes Bay.

CavaCurmin provides Curcumin from Turmeric in an easily-absorbed form, 40x more bioavailable than standard turmeric. Turmeric has been shown in research to support the health of the bowel lining, particularly healthy lipopolysaccharide levels for a normal, healthy immune response and a well-functioning intestinal barrier.

L-Glutamine is an amino acid that has many functions in the body and plays an important role in maintaining intestinal health. L-Glutamine plays a role within the cells of the small intestine, supporting the health of tight junctions to maintain healthy gut permeability. L-Glutamine is used as a fuel source for the intestinal cells and is also involved in the natural repair process for these cells as part of normal, healthy function. When the body is under stress, adequate dietary glutamine is important.

PreticX’s XOS (Xylo-oligosaccharide) is a plant derived prebiotic fibre with research showing that it helps support healthy numbers of probiotic bifidobacteria in the large intestine. As well as this, XOS assists the healthy production of propionate and butyric short-chain fatty acids, which are essential for a healthy and comfortable bowel lining. As a fibre XOS supports normal bowel regularity and bile flow, which help support the maintenance of healthy cholesterol and blood sugar levels.

German Chamomile and Aloe vera have had long-term traditional use for maintaining healthy balance to the digestive system and supporting bowel comfort. These antioxidant-rich plants help maintain the healthy function of gut organs. Quercetin completes the ingredient synergy with great support for the healthy integrity of the bowel wall.

Directions

Adults: Take 5g (1 tsp) daily.

Children (2 years+): Take 2.5g (1/2 tsp) daily.
